The focus of our efforts to continuously improve our services is on our customers, i.e. both the foreign nursing staff and the organisations in the German-speaking healthcare sector. Our endeavours to continuously improve our service performance are generally based on the following quality indicators:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li style=\"text-align: left;\">All arrangements and agreements are always made in writing<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">The placement process is free of charge for the carers<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">The economic risk for carers is limited<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Co-operations, services and costs incurred are transparent for all parties involved<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">As the client and customer, we bear overall responsibility for the entire service chain<\/li><\/ul><p>The focus here is on the commitment to fair and ethically justifiable recruitment and placement practices, the principles of which should also apply to the deployment of foreign nursing staff at organisations in the German-speaking healthcare sector. Furthermore, we are committed to basing our actions on the WHO Global Code of Conduct (<a href=\"https:\/\/repository.publisso.de\/resource\/frl:6415034\/data\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which can be found here<\/a>) for the international recruitment of health workers and refer to the International Conventions on Human Rights (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/about-us\/universal-declaration-of-human-rights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which can be found here<\/a>\u00a0-\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/Depts\/german\/menschenrechte\/aemr.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">German<\/a>), the core labour standards developed by the ILO (International Labour Organization) (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/wcmsp5\/groups\/public\/---asia\/---ro-bangkok\/---ilo-manila\/documents\/publication\/wcms_126253.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which can be found here<\/a>\u00a0-\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/berlin\/arbeits-und-standards\/kernarbeitsnormen\/lang--de\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">German<\/a>), in particular regarding the elimination of forced labour, the abolition of child labour and the prohibition of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation. In addition, we explicitly refer to the ILO's 2016 Guidelines for Fair Recruitment (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/gb\/GBSessions\/previous-sessions\/GB326\/pol\/WCMS_456862\/lang--en\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which can be found here<\/a>\u00a0-\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/gb\/documents-in-german\/WCMS_456941\/lang--en\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">German<\/a>) and the IRIS standards (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.charite.de\/fileadmin\/user_upload\/portal_relaunch\/international\/dokumente\/Recruiting_Pflegende\/IRIS_Standard.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which can be found here<\/a>) from 2019 and are committed to the Employer Pays Principle (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihrb.org\/employerpays\/the-employer-pays-principle\">which can be found here<\/a>) and all international UN human rights conventions; in particular the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights <a href=\"https:\/\/www.undp.org\/sites\/g\/files\/zskgke326\/files\/migration\/in\/UNGP-Brochure.pdf\">https:\/\/www.undp.org\/sites\/g\/files\/zskgke326\/files\/migration\/in\/UNGP-Brochure.pdf<\/a>).<\/p><p>We only work with organisations that recognise and comply with the above-mentioned guidelines of the WHO, UN, ILO, IRIS standards and the Employer Pays Principle.<\/p><p>Furthermore, we undertake to refrain from using commitment and repayment clauses that are not compatible with the criteria of the \"Fair Recruitment Care Germany\" seal of approval. In particular, we undertake not to place candidates in employment contracts that contain commitment and repayment obligations that are directly related to the placement. This includes all costs that<\/p><ul><li style=\"text-align: left;\">arise during the mediation process,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">arise in order to ensure access to the workplace and<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">arise in the context of the placement, which was initiated by the employer, us or a third party acting on behalf of the employer<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">fall under the Employer Pays principle.<\/li><\/ul><p>Further details are regulated in \u00a74 f. of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alfa-care.de\/en\/agb\/\">General Terms and Conditions<\/a>.<\/p><p>In our personal contact with our customers, our top priority is to communicate in a friendly, respectful, calm and courteous manner.
